European MiCA Regulation
Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) is now fully enforced as the first comprehensive crypto regulation worldwide. Key requirements for exchanges: authorization in an EU member state, minimum capital from EUR 125,000 to EUR 350,000, mandatory White Paper publication for each token, and segregation of client assets from company funds.

Stablecoins received a separate regulatory framework. Significant stablecoin issuers must maintain 100% reserves in liquid assets. For forex brokers offering crypto trading, MiCA creates clear rules and increases institutional confidence.
Global Regulatory Trends
The US tightens control through SEC and CFTC — exchanges must register and comply with anti-money laundering legislation. Hong Kong launched a virtual asset licensing regime. Singapore requires a PSA license for crypto services. The UAE through VARA created an attractive jurisdiction for crypto businesses.

MakeTrades monitors regulatory changes and promptly adapts the platform to meet new compliance requirements.
